Mini-BOM meet week of Xmas? Nimish is visiting!
Permalink Closed

Guys - I'm going to be in BOM from the 24th to the 30th of December - doing the standard VFR circuit. Wondering if there's a chance to meet a couple of A.netters for a drink/meal - that would be splendid! I might not have the time to go out for a full-fledged spotting session.

I'd def drop by to meet you for a few minutes.if you are staying near the Airport area.I just hope the Fog delays are not too bad at BOM else I'm stuck at the Tarmac.

Where are you put up.

Mel - I'll call you once in BOM - I'm going to be in Prabhadevi for a few days and then Thane.

JJ - enjoy the white Xmas!

I know 380 is not around, but Saurabh is, so I'll at least get to meet Mr. Monga (if has the time, that is)

Would love to join the meet but just returned back to Singapore from Bombay on a very tight trip. Maybe next time.

Mel while my plane was taxing for take off I saw a 747-300 passenger version in white color with no name only the registration number any clue to whom it belongs and what the aircraft is doing there. It was parked at the apron where most aircrafts are parked.

Also saw VM's new toy with just UB written across & a twin engine small aircarft with United states of America painted across took off before us could not make out the manfuacturer of the aricraft.

the aircraft reg is confirmed TF-AMK Boeing 747-300 Owned by Air Atlanta Icelandic.

Previously was seen wearing XL titles... but is currently in BOM without any markings..

as for the 767... it regularly operates AI 131 out of BOM!!

also what you might be referring to about Vijay Mallya's personal UB aircraft is maybe the A319 corporate jet that he has VT-VJM.. it was used that night for a personal flight of his... i dont know the destination but he had a crew of 2 airhostesses and 2 pilots.. so i think it was a short foreign trip since he departed from the international terminal 2A

the current pics of that aircraft show it without its complete livery with the waves/stripes running across much like Air New Zealand type designs
