Welsome to a-india.net. Nice pics.

But the scheme looks quite bad. prefer the existing blue and green schemes.

Welcome.

The Yellow GoAir A320 stands out at the Tarmac because of the rare colour.

If I am not wrong, then all the GO Air crafts are leased.  Can anybody clarify about their order, and when they are getting their own birds.

Hmm! I'm not sure about the place. But when I photographed it, it was parked near an runway with a bunch of other aircrafts (not near a terminal).

Is there a airport/runway diagram of BOM on web somewhere?

Dont think this aircraft is being used yet. The EC-JND registration is an indicator to that. It will get an Indian registration (VT-Wxx) before it starts flying.

BTW - EC-JND is an ex-Iberworld aircraft. Here are some of its pics in the Iberworld livery:

and an all-white livery before being painted in Go Air colors:

that explains why she has been parked there... but as of this morning she wasnt there anymore... maybe the formalities for operations have been completed by GO AIR...

@ R.B :: yes.. the area that you are talking about where it has been parked and where you snapped it is the new parking apron that has been made. This area is used mainly for the overnight parking of the bigger jets like the A320s as also smaller private jets and charters... the building opposite the aircraft is where the Apron Control is located along with the fire brigade canteen ;).. the adjoining row of structures houses all the maintenance and engineering offices/facilities for many airlines.. including us (Lufthansa) and KLM engineering.

If you have access to and can use Google Earth.. you can clearly see the area in much detail since google has updated the pics from the old one that they had earlier.

Optical illusion probably. This yellow GO AIR plane was parked at night in the far-bay at PNQ a few weeks ago, working a DEL-PNQ-MAA flight, and under the sodium vapour lamps it looked full white. Partly also because the view from the restaurant at PNQ is through heavily tinted glasses and partly also because there was a post-rain mist in the air.

Are the cabin interiors also colour matched?
