Generally, the link to someone's photo gallery is http://www.flickr.com/photos/music_avijeet/ with "music_avijeet" being the username of the person. It works well with my username, crew320.
Already sent to DGCA, MoCA and BCAS. Big bhalblah in media about security threat, I also know a fair bit of Bengali and spoke to the rickshaw wallah and immediately to the best of my knowledge placed him as a migrant from B'Desh masquerading as a Bihari. Nothing against anybody, but what is the value of all the sanitization and security if these rickshaws are moving in and out freely with drums and plastic bags?
How did you like the others? Most were "grabbed" while on the move. Indigo buses have this wierd glazing on the windows so no clear shots from there!

I got nothing against cycle-rickshaws at airports, a 3-wheeler is a 3-wheeler whether with engines/without, fixed wing or rotary wing or no wing. But the laws pertaining to operations, runway/taxiway usage/incursions and vis-a-vis other users need to be adhered to. Furthermore, I would expect the Airport Operator to adhere to all the statutory and mandatory laws pertaining to hire and use of workmen.
These are the usual garbage collecting rickshaws we see all over the country. At IGI under the new reign of GMR-DIAL they are used for delivering and picking up minor stores from construction sites as well as now I notice from aircraft. (The rickshaw in the distance in two of the photos was taking the black garbage bags from one of the aircraft after cleaning).
In addition they are used to ferry labour, which includes the children playing and helping out.
I got a terse and unfriendly response from the PRO/GMR-DIAL, saying something to the effect that they have a board up banning child labour. Good for them.
Meanwhile, since I do know a few words of Bengali, I got a good grip on which neighbouring country these rickshaw pullers come from. And we talk about increased security threat at airports now, right?
Who and how do you get freighters cleaned, Hawk, every flight or only when they return to base airport?

Freighters Fly an Average 6-8 hrs a night,With just 2-5 persons on board. The Flight deck is cleaned every Transit halt & the rest is done on the Terminal Halt.
