Where is DPRK heading for?

Now that sanctions have been imposed on DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea-North Korea) and DPRK threatening another nuclear test what steps in your opinion will the US take against DPRK?

The DPRK ambassador to UN was quite "casual" yesterday. When all countries were discussing about their point of view his legs were on the table and eyes closed!!! And after he said what he had to he walked out. This was marked into a statement by Bolton-US ambassador to UN and then his statement was indirectly countered by Russian ambassador.

The whole world knows it quite clearly that China and Russia are indiresctly trying to support DPRK.

So what do you think will the US do against DPRK?

Security Council OKs N. Korea sanctions

By EDITH M. LEDERER, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 57 minutes ago

UNITED NATIONS - The U.N. Security Council voted unanimously on Saturday to impose punishing sanctions on North Korea including ship searches for banned weapons, calling Pyongyang's claimed nuclear test "a clear threat to international peace and security."

North Korea immediately rejected the resolution, and its U.N. ambassador walked out of the council chamber after accusing its members of a "gangster-like" action which neglects the nuclear threat posed by the United States.

In my opinion when sanctions start taking effect on the DPRK they will come to negotiations. While the sanctions are taking effect the US will send a lot of its forces to South Korea and Japan just to threaten DPRK but not to actually attack.

At the most they will 'threaten' to attack the DPRK.

US has a very strong market in its arms and ammunitions. Such a war means Japan and S.Korea purchasing more arms and profit to the US.

Iraq was a different issue. Bush administration accepts the fact that their information on WMD with Iraq was wrong. We all know why Bush attacked Iraq.
