and in case those planes have PTVs, I would highly recomment Jaspal Bhatti's "Flop Show" as a part of IFE.

Good Idea... Having some truly fun filled Punjabi Airline... They should recruit Navjot Singh Sidhu, Jaspal Bhatti, Bhagwant Mann, Gurpreet Ghuggi etc. as their cabin crew... Then this airline is gonna be a hit... truly BALLE BALLE... Chak de Phatte...

Sat Sri Akal is the Sikh way of Namaste.
Badshahon means reffering to a person in high regard.
Jee Aaya Nu means Welcome in Punjabi.

Air Slovakia has been sold to Indian businessman Harjinder Singh Sidhu for an undisclosed price estimated to be around $30 million. Sidhu is the principal financier behind Golden City Aviation, a new company based in Vienna. Austrian media reported Golden City already has operated its first flight, a Vienna-Cologne service aboard an MD-83 belonging to Austrian charter company MAP. Sindhu's airline, which will take on an Indian name and reportedly market itself to Indians, is planning twice-weekly flights from Vienna to Goa, Gochin, Jaipur and Amritsar and eventually to London, Amsterdam and Mumbai. Long-haul flights will be aboard Air Slovakia's two 757-200s. It also has one 737-200.

I think the key thing here is that the businessman clearly plans to "revamp" the airline. Isnt that how Mr Mittal build his steel empire...buy cheap and revamp ??

ture, but they can save a lot of money by offering all-you-can-drink hard-liquor bar, heck if they get them liquored up as soon as they board the plane, no need for any fancy meal service or any IFE, trust me they'd receive 5 star feedback from a lot of punjabi (mostly male) travelers... as for kids and women, your suggestions do make sense... though sukshinder shinda sounds like shit in live performance... sounds NOTHING like his recorded material and no true "pendu" punjabi likes Dollar Mehndi. Jazzy and Mika would appeal to almost everyone.
