Why hasn't AI or IC bothered to re-paint any of its aircrafts in its retro scheme?

 because they still use their childhood liveries with little changes.


BTW i have a nice design for Air India, Can anybody tell me how to send it to air india's offic?

Honey AI is already as retro as it possibly could get!! Do you really want it to go even more retro???


IC has changed its livery now and a large part of its livery IS defacto in retro colors! ;)


As for sending suggestions to Air India: you must be kiddin! Or are you having your stroke in installments?

Well the main reason could be for marketing purposes especially after media throws some light into it


Also i agree with roy about AI already in retro

Personally I feel the AI Livery is fantastic especially on a B747.

This makes me wonder - how long will AI stick to the livery? Agreed that it looks really good but will AI stick to it say 10 years down the line??

Can you design me a replacement for the BETTLE, TAJMAHAL or GATEWAYOFINDIA. And i will show you 100 alternatives for the AI Logo, Mascot and Livery. Vivek, get up at 6 in the morning have a Bun Masca Chai at your local Irani or Udipi and have another look at the AI logo, Mascot and Livery. I am sure you will agree with me that it is time immemorial and cannot be replaced EASILY.


It can and will be sold differently..............

If they can come up with a better & more acceptaple livery.Its welcomed.However Remember the last time that was done.
