BOM - HYD IC A319 VT-SCE
Permalink Closed

Hey,

I just returned from BOM this morning on an IC A319 VT-SCE. Was a short sector and the flight was uneventful, so don’t think would like to write a TR on it but, I took some pictures enroute thinking yall may like them.

Here you are :

Took this picture from the coach that transports passengers from the terminal to the bay. One of the scratched, old, black filmed windows on the coach was open, so took it when we were parked next to the aircraft.

On the stepladder on Bay #9 (I guess) after handing over the boarding pass stubs to the ground staff. I was very excited to click this aircraft from outside.

Settled down on my seat, starboard window. The aircraft had a green scheme from inside for some reason. Seat covers, seat belts, curtains…everything green. The economy cabin looked fresh and new, however, looked cramped. A picture of the incomplete Inflight calling apparatus with the handset missing.

IFE, currently disabled on this flight. The channel number however, was displayed and could be changed by the buttons.

Seated and strapped, taxing out, waiting in the sequence with departure next. We were waiting for an arrival that I guessed and kept the camera ready next to the window. An IT A320 suddenly appeared and I didn’t miss to capture it. I like this picture.

Flight went on as it usually does, within an hour and a half, we landed in HYD, overcast weather, temperature 27 C. Saw a Kingfisher ATR 72, Air Deccan A320. We then parked on Aerobridge #2. Everyone deplaned.

On the way out, I saw the seat controls on this aircraft in the business class. Wanted to take a picture of it but couldn't.

Nice, clean aircraft

Nice work Crew!!

The new scheme looks really good up close.

Just waiting to see it on the A330.

And this is how the cabin would have looked on VT-SCE (ex-Air Canada) long ago.

Hi Crew320,

On what sectors are the A319s deployed at the moment. Any chances of them operating on BOM-JDH sector instead of the B732s by the end of this year?

Nice Pics. But why was the A319 allotted Bay #9.Shouldn't they park beyond Bay #14.Or was it full, surprisingly for Daytime though.

International as well. They were doing India-Singapore for a while.

Had a mini-South India tour also. Just to highlight the new colour scheme and image at every IA station in the South.

Hey himmat01,

well, so far from what I hear, the 319s are not taking up Alliance Air routes as they were supposed to. Atleast not till the new aircrafts start coming...
