I recently had a very bad experience with jet airways on the MAA-CJB sector. The flight from Chennai to Coimbatore was delayed due to equipment problem by about 5 hours. Initially Jet ground personel told us that they would endorse our tickets to paramount. But after some time, they refused to endorse the H class tickets. Most of the passengers in the flight had H class tickets. We ended up buying tickets in paramount for 2.5 times the price we paid for jet tickets.

  I thought jet being a full service airline would endorse all tickets to other airlines in case of cancellation or inordinate delays. The whole experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. The jet ground staff at chennai airport were utterly incompetent in handling the situation and were looking to wash their hands off the passengers problems.

Can anyone confirm that jet does not endorse H class tickets to other airlines in case of inordinate delays/cancellations? I am in the process of taking up this issue with Jet customer care anyway.
