Beware of Journalists
Permalink Closed

Hey Guys,
Yesterday I got a call from HT, New Delhi regarding my views on an ideal teacher. I said an ideal teacher is the one who mixes with the kids well and interacts with them. He's innovative and has informal outlook. But today, in HT,Delhi edition, see what they have stated. My'n is the last opinion in middle column.

There was a lot of problem in school for me because of the last line, which I never mentioned. Why will I like to hang out with a teacher???
So my advice to all of you is to be cautious with these journalists or Chefs, who like to marinate and cook up for themselves.
Regards
tSk

Write to them & ask them to print a correction.Although that would not cure things 100%.

I agree with you that one must be cautious with Journalists or the press. They are often the people who make or break you.....

Once i remember a group of our Japanese Office people came down to Bombay to study our working and yes see the Taj.

When they were here we thought to take a precautionary measure and ordered a popular leading brand of water which has its factory just about a km away from the domestic and international airports.

The bottled water contained mucus, in fact about 3 crates (Each crate has about 12 bottles).

When we called the company they made us dilly daly and yes, even refused to accept that they sold the same. (Imagine when we went to the factory and purchased it from there, took delivery from there and all this with their invoice).

When we threatened them with the MEDIA they were all sarcastic and gave us the look.

We were surprised, but it did not last. We know a leading senior lady in Midday and requested her help to bring out this cheating to the common man.

She bluntly told us that the concerned corporate was her client, and in fact Middays leading client and she would not help us in any way....

Now is this not scarlett..........behaviour on part of Midday or should we just accept that money rules.

Do you have the name of the reporter who spoke to you? Do you have some kind of evidence? Was this a tele-interview or did the reporter meet you?

You SHOULD write a letter to the Editor and mention this. You should also write a letter to the Chief Reporter and the Editor telling them what has happened.

Don't end up facing the music for nothing. You have a right to get your point across correctly.

Please keep us posted on what happens.

Your teacher should also know what happened.

Who is creating problems for you in school?
