BKK-CCU-BKK is a very old route for TG and one of their more profitable Indian routes. This flight has regularly reported loads excess of 90%. In fact if it was not for the bilaterals this flight would have gone daily long back.TG only very recently issued a statement saying that TG 313 and 314 would go daily once the new set of bilaterals come into effect from summer 2007.
As far as SQ goes, their eastern region manager has stated in the media yesterday that due to non-availablity of aircraft they are not being able to add flights to their existing 4x weekly B772 flights on SIN-CCU-SIN, which is high on the airlines priority list.
If they make statements like this, then they must be having a good load factor.

Good to hear that! The more intl flights we have from "other cities" (other than BOM/DEL), the better for the country at large (and for BOM & DEL as well, since the crowding there will reduce)
