I wouldn't say this a very accurate fig, includes, AI, IA, 9W, S2, GO, DN & spice. Rest of the lessors own 1-3 a/c each.

To answer your Q it is WAH Co ltd, 9W only might be another NG gapla.

Not many know but Orix in India has considerable holdings by IL & FS.

So i guess it would make IL&FS take lead.

IL&FS cropped up in your post # 145, it was not mentioned elsewhere, and since the letters are similar it was natural for the dumb to ask the Q i did.

Anyway why did you mention IL&FS in a thread on aircraft leasing, they are nowhere into aircraft leasing ( correct me if i am wrong ) inspite of being a ORIX subsidary.

IL & FS is into a/c financing....ud be surprised if you look at some of S2 that were flying around.

Sorry mate can u give me the reg of these aircrafts, as per the data i've access to ILFC own 5 of S2 aircrafts, infact i don't see a single ORIX a/c leave aside IL&FS (Infrastructure lease & Finance Serv).

So once again did you imply ILFC when you mentioned IL&FS ?

And yes, the a/c was taken away by them in June 04 due.

I am truly confused jumbo, it started with IL&FS being the largest lessors in India, later it was they had some a/c flying with S2 and now it is they had 1 a/c flying with S2.

Cheers matey, study hard and go by the letter. Aviation is a field where most errors are commited due to NFP (Not following publication). Don't want to sound condescending, this is from personal experience as a maint man.

So what academics are you pursuing and where, if i am not getting to inquisitive ?

Pursuing another PhD in Aviation Sciences from Purdue.
