TRVYYZ is expected to reach around 2:45pm in time for heavies. I plan to be slightly early at the established meeting point. Don't really carry anything as there are couple of eateries nearby, but on occasion have had Dosa at the end of the meet. We generally plan to be there till 6:30, which is the arrival time of AI's B777. Days being longer in summer, we might hang on a bit longer, but then it all depends on the mood and we declare if off the moment we are tired or bored. Its time I get ready to leave.
BTW!! Subin is expected to be at YYZ near X-mas, will see if weather then is conducive for spotting.
Dosa. Great. How does it taste out there.Similiar or Different.
Four Hrs spotting is not bad.
Trust you are taking the Camera along for us.
didn't have Dosa this time, but it tastes the same, esp the chilli Mysore Dosa.
Anyway had nice spotting..saw the usual, AC,TS,DL,US,UA,AA,NW,WN,KL,AF,LH,BA,PK(772LR),CO,SV, and last but not the least our very own VT-AIK aka Megh Malhar. Looked stunning in setting sun. I didn't take my film camera, but Santhosh was with his DSLR and have asked him to post pictures here esp that of AI.
Someone at AI needs to take a good hard look at the livery on the 777s. The red arrow/slash and the AIR INDIA letters look especially terrible on that tail.

The heat haze has degraded the quality of the landing AI pic.
