I know i have been a member for almost a month now... but chalo.. better late than never.
I am nitin, i live in chandigarh and am currently in my 4th year of law at the Army Institute of Law Mohali. I have been an aviation idiot for the longest time, started while flying with my parents.. i used to love planes and sit at the window and bug my father about each and every part of the plane. I think my main love for flying has come from him.
Actually my life is really quite linked to aviation:
1. My parents love travelling in their holidays..now my frequency of flying has diminished cuz i have grown up.. i still get to go once in a while with them when they feel like taking me along.. lol.
2. My college is an insane aviation spot. first of all, the air force aircraft landing at the Chandigarh air base all fly over my college and i see them a couple of gazillion times a day. secondly, my college surprisingly is right under the flight path of major international flights flying over india to other countries. You can see this from the contrail shots on myaviation.
3. My girlfriend is in DEL for a year studying, so i am there almost every weekend and hence get a chance to run to JNU to spot !! All my friends think i am mad, cuz even after a crazy night of saturday night partying, i will be up at 8 and out to spot!
So well thats all i can think of right now.
Nice to be a part of this site, i am sure it will become HUGE in the near future.
Just one sentence... I have been an aviation fan since i was 6yrs that was the first time i flew to SIN and started to identify two aircrafts total... A320 (i used to call all two engined aircrafts as A320) and the B747 (again i called all 4-engined aircrafts as B747)
Three engined aircrafts i considered didnt fly
