Excellent news and wonderful incidence of planning.

I wish BLR would wake up and realize that the lack of connectivity to the new airport is going to make like hell for the masses.

BIAL is going to be taxi operators's paradise. It's gonna be very expensive to commute to the airport. The authorities should plan in advance and have a metro link to the BIAL. It not too late yet.

There is already a plan to link the Mumbai Metro to the Sahar airport. The first phase - Versova to Ghatkopar is to have a spur to the airport. This will be a boon for passengers especially those arriving past midnight as the cabbies there charge exorbitant rates.
