Thats a really gud one Nimish Well A380 bro just because LCC,s are not cup of your tea doesnt mean they are crap. Well the answer to your statement lies in just the passenger share DN is generating. I think DN no doubt is the best things which has happened to indian aviation infact it has forced full service carriers to cut their rates to a certain extent too

Er.. but i dont like people spitting in food trays

Dude - wake up - no one likes that, and DN does not want it either.

It's the individual who does this, and the individual has to learn/improve.

Note that the Re 1 ticket is exclusive of taxes, which stand at Rs 225 now.
While playing around on the DN website I have come across Re 1 tickets available from Lucknow to Kanpur-although anyone familiar with that area will tell you that a train or bus would be faster from city centre to city centre.

Well, there are many negative things which can be said about Air Deccan. However if you feel the need to travel a lot all over the country and do not have major time constraints it is bearable.
They do have a rather innovative scheme called Super Value Flyer. For a down payment of 1 lakh you get 32 flights on any of their routes for a year. (In early 2005 it was 36 for 1 lakh). Now these can be used by a family of upto 4 (husband, wife and 2 children). There are variations of this for less flights and a still cheaper package which is restricted to ATR flights only.
This scheme does not seem to be there in any other Indian airline. The frequent flyer schemes generally are for only one person, e.g. Mr X flies 10 times and he gets a free ticket which only Mr X can use. The impression I got from Jet Airways is that they
dont give FF points if you travel on discounted fares. e.g. the London return fare of 25 K which they were promoting a while back would not get you any points.

Thats their marketing tricks... A friend of mine in US his father is a regular flyer between Dallas and Washington DC, he is a Delta FFP member and in between Delta started some offer on points.

He got 3 free tickets on his points once after accumulatin. He wanted to fly his family members so he took three tickets out and along with other 2 tickets a total of five he expected to get another free ticket but the airline denied it saying that the free ticket was only for 5 tickets on full-fares

Smart people

Yes maybe for sure cos by road it takes 2hrs in a speedy drive and BOM traffic but less in air for business reasons surely some may be opting for flights i feel
