Firstly.....Ask the Watchman to chuck this guy whose Firing & then Transferring posts out the Gate.It has to be done in reverse order

I Agree the A320 Family powered by CFM56Bs would be good. But New Aircraft.zero hrs.

What about the Long Rangers.I'd opt for B772LRs.Anyone else.

And a few Freighters too.Any good options.

Bhargavi jee..can u please give an example of the profanity...i dun think ive used any...

Nyway back to serious topics...firstly a380 jee for ocenia a 748 aint appropriate...its too big...a 773 or A332 is more appropriate.....considering loads/ market.....also 772LR for US nonstops and 748 or 380 for one stops via europe or SE Asia...provided requiste bilaterals are approved..

Also if gulf is allowed then a332 or 783 shud be used ...given the market i feel 320 and 737s are not sufficient

Also wat do u guys think bout flts to South America....is there enuf market for a one stop via africa or europe????

On a slightly different note VM emailed me saying he plans to start intl ops in 2007 but dint say how he planned to get permission...so i guess he's got sumthin up his sleeve

For ur information QF many times infact most times operates a B747 on SYD-BOM-SYD route so i dont think a B747 is "too big"

And besides if we operate a B747-8 on the DEL-BOM-SYD-AKL-BOM-DEL or something similiar it will be better

AKLDELNonstop,

Look you wana be the "CEO"?
prove it! its as simple as that...
you cant elect yourself as the CEO, then fire people, and come up with a lame cover-up... it doesnt work, wel not with me atleast...

so put your act together and suggestions are appricated NOT decisions made Without consultation with the board of members...

so to the conclusion im electing you as a man behind the check-in counter, maybe it will teach you something known as a TEAM...

PS: i dunt wana sound rude but u made me so before hitting the "submit post" click on the "preview post"

thanks again for your co-operation

Regards...

ALSO

i made a Logo for the Airline:

but cant seem to upload it... u can see the smaller version but its very unclear. the "Ima" titles are in orange and not red the titles below in green say Indian midland airways while the hindi titles say "Aapke Sang, Hamesha..."

Logo

cheeers!

Dude the QF flts are one-stop via SE Asia...and SYD-SEAsia loads are huge due to the massive student and other Asian(not counting Indians) population....Just SIN-SYD is enough to fill up 2 747s daily, however the load to India is not that high and seasonal....also you have SQ,TG,MH,CX and to some extent AI/IC wid NZ competing on those routes...there fore a 748 will be too big.

Also DEL/BOM-SYD-AKL-BOM/DEL might be a good idea with a 772 esp if these flights are timed to connect to europe and US from India we have winner. Although I woudnt want the same a/c goin to both BOM and DEL coz that just makes  it a bus service...that AI is so famous for

Cheers

As far as freighters are concerned...for the start I think the 310-200/300F is a good option. Great medium sized capacity...and is a proven cargo workhorse (FedEx operates 62 of this type).

Other freighter options....737-300/400F(2G), 737-700F(3G).

Hmm.. Saurabh i can c only the logo not a aircraft anyways i ll try and fit it in a aircraft

Speaking abt AKLDELNonstop i think u need to check out the schedule of QF SYD-BOM-SYD its nonstop flights and even if we operate DEL-BOM-SIN-SYD its not a bad idea...

And as for the freighters how would A300-600F be for short range and B747 for Cargo to distant routes not necessary that we operate daily flights to USA on B747s maybe 3 times a week wud do it.

For Domestic cargo i feel A320 Family shud do

BTW will we fly A320s or B737s for domestic flights?

MD-11 is pretty old we have to think of newer generation a/c for competing others...

So i thought for an A320 instead we can operate A320s leased converted freighers...

How about a/c for European operations???

i wud opt for A340-500/600 and B777-300ERs

Im mainly on Yahoo nowadays but i can log into MSN whenever u can make it.

The reason i didn't pick large cap freighters is becoz we're just starting off. That explains why i mentioned only medium cap.

Don't think they convert 320 into freighters as yet.
