A 350/370 Question

After all the losses in the production of A380, don't you think the announcement of this new aeroplane is too early regarding their financial position?
Can they handle any delay in the production of this plane?

A discussion at airliners.net says that airbus will lunch the A350 at faranbough (watever)

I've been saying this since long......Airbus should really focus on its A380 deliveries now and sort out problems with their customers rather than hurrying into announcing a new model.


Remember - haste makes waste - and we saw this with the A350!

just to clarify, A370 is not a new model, just a new Avataar of A350.  Airbus realized that the brand A350 is all but doomed, and there is no point in coming out with revised A350, so rather name it A370.  In short, we will see A370 and not A350.


As Vivek rightly said, Airbus should now concentrate on A380.  After all, a bird in hand is better than two in a bush.

yeah right but the quotation is meant for a single person and not like the Airbus Co. if Boeing has threatened the A330, A340 then Airbus must think of another airplane too.


BTW there r engineers to focus on the A380 its not just Airbus CEO who makes both the aircrafts that u can tell him to focus on one currently.


The A350/A370 dept. is different from the A380 dept. totally


U never know Airbus may start designing the A350/A370 at China or Hamburg not necessarily at Toulouse though its a history...just an example
