Sunday June 11th was the first anniversary of the Anet SA meet at BOM. Anetters Anuj Mathur and I decided to make the most of this occasion and spent a few hours planespotting. Here is a short "pic report" of the event:
Anuj and I met quite accidentally at our planespotting joint. We eventually got talking and found out that both of us were aviation enthusiasts and were members of Anet SA!! The action spread over Saturday evening and Sunday morning was awesome to say the least. Here is what we saw.
Amongst the many domestic arrivals was this Sahara B737. I love the way Sahara's colors contrast against the sky!
This is how we rounded off our planespotting session. Great action and amazing variety. Overall, a nice way to celebrate the first anniversary of Anet SA meet. Signing off...
cool snaps vivek but i guess the link to the Virgin Atlantic A340 was wrong it was the same link as of the DN A320 guess u gotta post it again can i request you for a 9W A330 i think it has arrived right
The AI livery looks funny on the 777s. The tail is not wide enough and getting in all the details makes it look squashed up. The livery looks best on the 747 tail.
Do you agree? Or..?
Wonder whether there will be changes for the new fleet. But the AI chairman a few months ago says the decision was to continue with the current livery.
It was wonderful having a spotting session after a long long time. You have seen Vivek's pictures, now im about to upload the pics clicked by me soon...although not much of a difference coz we were at the same spot !
Hey anybody happen to know the whereabouts of that CD which has the pics we clicked frm the dargah a year ago ? Are they still with guru ?
i feel AI livery wud look damn good on A340 even Indian, Kingfisher, GoAir liveries wud look great on A340 (just an opinion...not all mention carriers have ordered A340 except IT)
i dont like 9W livery onA340
