Can't we retain the link airliners-india.net? do we have to work out woth that new loooooooong link?

What and Why?

We are moving to a different service provider to be more cost effective and to do something different. Effective immediately, we will start moving to the new site which is http://airlinersindia.s4.bizhat.com/

How is it going to affect you?

I apologize, but you’ll have to register again at the new forum host. This will also give you the opportunity to change your username if you feel so.

What will happen to the existing forum?

That will remain as it is till the final “Go Live”. After that it will be switched to ad-supported version and will serve as archive. All the threads will be closed, and it will be closed to new members. The URL of the old forum will change, and its new link shall be posted on the new site.

Flickr Group shall remain unaffected and a link it is available in new forum.

What will happen to the Domain name “Airliners-India.net”?

At “Go Live”, it will be forwarded to the new forum host

Process of Migration

Migration Phase (now till Dec 31, 2006)
1. Effective immediately, members are requested register at new site, and start threads over there to carry forward the discussion.
2. The domain “Airliners-India.net” will continue to be forwarded to old site.
3. Old site will remain as it is till end of the phase
Go Live (on Jan 01, 2007, at New Year’s eve IST)
1. Old forum will be made ad-supported and all the threads will be closed. The new URL of old forum shall be posted in the new forum. Old forum shall be closed to new members.
2. Domain “Airliners-India.net” shall be forwarded to new forum.

This is what it reads when I click register after filling up the form. Whats up?? I dont see anything asking for a confirmation code...

Filed it up twice and getting the same error message as Crew and Deaphen

Identical error, tried in both IE and firefox, no good.

it has been sorted out! the code is case sensitive...please let me know if it still does not work.

Also let me know if the code was visible in Blue template? I have changed it to white for now

Was able to sign in. Am using the username "Aiel" now.

Kinda liked the blue template that was there before.

I too liked it, but for some reason Visual Confirmation was not coming up on that template.

The homepage shows newest user as "the_380" but:

Some problems here... It is asking me for a confirmation signature from my parent/guradian and then mail or fax it to Aseem

I did not get any message of this kind.

BTW, the_380, did you click on the "I am below 13 years" in the terms & conditions? This is the only situation I can think of which could prompt such an E-mail.
