Casual A-netters Meet at BLR in Nov/Dec 2006

Hi and Namaste all India A-netters!  I was wondering if any anetters wanted to meet up for snacks/drinks in Bangalore in Nov/Dec some weekend.


Perhaps a nice hotel in the central/MG road area on a weekend afternoon?


Here are some possible dates:


Sat 25 Nov, Sun 26 Nov (afternoon/lunch),


Maybe 3 Dec(not as definite)


I will be in Bangalore and New Delhi for a month total, but Blore is a more convenient meeting spot for me as Ill be travellign in North India more frequently.  My plans might change slightly once I reach India on 21 Nov, so fee free to contact me if you are interested: vmgopal@gmail.com


Also I will be flying British Airways from Chicago-Heathrow-London, so Id be happy to share my experiences and pictures from the journey.

BOM meet IMO was not such a hit. Maybe a bigger meet this time can be arranged.

There were many more Bom meets earlier too.Last times was not the first.Even if two A-I-netters can meet up consider it sucessfull.

I'm out of town on a company picnic on 25th (Saturday), but Sunday noon/lunch is still wide open - would love to meet up then. I can confirm my participation on Sunday lunch (26th Nov).

Hey Nimish and fellow BLR a-netters!


Sunday 26 Nov around lunch sounds good to me. I will do everything in my power to keep myself free. I am leaving Chicago O'Hare tonight (19 Nov) for Heathrow and I will be in B'lore on 21 Nov. Flying BA 298 and BA 119. World Traveller. First Time on BA.


Do you have a preffered meeting location? Any Residency Road/Brigade/MG Road locale sounds good.  Maybe the Taj Gateway on Residency Road??? Their Northern Gate restaurant has good appetizers and kebabs? Noon sounds good. Open to suggestions. So who else is game?


Maybe if someone who has a airliners.net membership can post this in the Indian Avaiation Thread as a "casual meet" there might be some others interested.


Sun 26 November-around Noon, Bangalore--Location decided soon

 Plz lemme knw wen u r in DEL and have some free time. Maybe we can meet over for some dinner or something. DEL group is fairly inactive and small. I guess we are just a small bunch ie me, Tsk and Mayank. Besides this i knw a couple of close palies of mine who visit the forum as guests so are kind of silent members. We are yet to plan our official spotting meet.

Are you around for a little longer in BLR? Maybe we can meet next weekend, or even for a quick lunch on any work day (my office is in central bangalore). Unfortunately I'm already tied up with something else on Sunday evening, so Sunday noon was the only time that weekend that worked for me.

Hopefully Sun Dec 3rd in the afternoon we can meet in BLR!!! or other week days might be possible. I can easily travel to the MG road area--usually I am in B'gudi or Koramangala or Jayanagar, BSK--thanks Nimish, my schedule is crazy but i will make free time to meet up. i nmay be eaier to contact my emaill vmgopal@gmail.com but if anyone else wants to meet in BLR is free to jooin--its just that I've gotten the most response from Nimishg so most my messages seem directed that way. but i' like to get to put a face to more people if i can!

Dec 3-5
Dec 15-21

Ill be in BLR these dates then returning to ORD on 22 Dec on BA.

Sorrry I had to call off the potential meet for this lunch today---weddings are invading life!
