I think the UB group has had this a/c for a while now - only it was earlier in the UB/McDowell colours, and has now been repainted into the full Kingfisher colours. Looks grand!

True, though that Gulfstream looks a bit outdated (maybe the tiny engines) and doesn't he actually have a new (or newer) Airbus equal to the Boeing BBJ? (or two?)

I thought I saw a photo or two of it on Airliners.net

Correct me if I am wrong though.

MEL, is the ACJ product similar to Boeing's (737 Based) BBJ?

Now it seems Mallya is more interested towards getting some CL130s into his private fleet and IT's fleet.

Don't kill me on this one, but i think at the end of the runway in Bangalore the 727 of UB is lying with the livery painted out and the nose taken off.

Can anyone verify this please?

Ok got some information.

The Gulfstream were initially in UB groups scheme. Have been repainted in Kingfisher Airlines colours. They are used by Mallya's family members (mostly wife) who stay in UK. They use this aircraft as their private jet.

any pictures if possible? I'm still two weeks away from my next roster into BLR. If it is the 727 it has to be Mallaya's, i don't think anyone else had a 727 with them in India.
