I have an IBM Netvista PC which was bought in 2001. It has 256 MB RAM, 1.66 Ghz processor speed, 40 GB harddisk, extended to 80 GB.

The machine is useless. It goes out of order every 5 months.

im a bit of a gaming freak with FS2004 installed permanently in addition to NFS series...

so my comps a bit of a performance one... that is if you still measure it to standards 2 years ago!! lol

P4 2 Ghz
1GB DDR (2x512MB)
ATI Radeon 9800Pro

and the regular jazz...

will upgrade to an x1900XT and C2D E6700 or a 6800E by Feb or March.... by which time the new cards and Quad core Proc from Intel should be out and about...

but i might just hold on to see if DX10 cards show up and Vista makes a splash... so realistically speaking...i've gotta make do with my antique till maybe mid of next year before a clear picture emerges as to computer developments
