No there cameras are not permitted. Even mobile phones have to be submitted after switching it off to the security and you can collect them only after you leave their hangers.
Security checks there are not equivalent to those in India

if im not mistaken!..we can take our cameras and cellphones into our hangars in FRA..... my colleagues have clicked many a snap in during their group training sessions...

Staff having authorised passes can carry Cellphones but there is a strict request not to switch them on until out of the Facilities.This was for UK cranebank.
