International Airlines have increased flights out of India as well as have opened new destinations this winter:


British Airways:


BOM:Both flights upgraded to 747-400


DEL:Both Flights upgraded to 747-400


BLR: Upgraded to DAILY 777-200 from 5 weekly


VIRGIN ATLANTIC AIRWAYS:


DEL gets upgraded to Daily A340-600


 


Air France:


BOM:FLight Upgraded to 777-300ER


DEL:Flight Upgraded to 747-400


BLR upgraded to Daily A330-200 from 5 weekly


MAA:NEW 3 WEEKLY A343 SERVICE


KLM/NORTHWEST:


BOM:  NW  DC10 changed to much better A330-200


DEL :KLM upgrades to 777-200ER


HYD:KLM upgraded from 3 to 4 weekly


 


LUFTHANSA


CCU starting in DEC 3 weekly probably getting to 6 weekly accoding to AMADEUS in Late January


DEL:CHANGE OF EQUIPMENT on DEL-MUC from 343 to 333 same configuration of 8F/48J/165Y


ALITALIA


DEL UPgraded to 777-200ER


EVA AIR TAIWAN/CHINA AIRLINES TAIWAN


BOM: NEW 3 WEEKLY SERVICE TO TAIPEI WITH 747-400 COMBI


DEL: UPGRADED TO 5 WEEKLY FROM PRESENT 3 WEEKLY


AIR CHINA


DEL:  NEW 3 WEEKLY SERVICE WITH 767-200/300ER


FINNAIR


DEL: NEW 3 WEEKLY MD-11 SERVICE


DELTA AIRLINES


BOM:THE NEW DAILY NONSTOP 777-200ER SERVICE FROM JFK


AIR SLOVAKIA


NEW SERVICE TO AMRITSAR FROM LONDON STANSTEAD


AIR SAHARA

  • NEW 3 WEEKLY 767-300ER SERVICE TO GUANZHOU CHINA
  • NEW DAILY B738 SERVICE TO MALE VIA COLOMBO
  • NEW DAILY B738 SERVICE TO DHAKA VIA KOLKATA

 If u guys know of any more airlines starting new routes or increasing capacity on existing routes please post them.

im quite surprised BA have opted to increase capacity and upgrade the afternoon flight to the 744.... 75-80% of the time that flight goes with 90 and 120 passengers!..

The flight will arrive at 22:10 and will depart at 00:10.

Any idea how Lufthansa BLR route is doing after BA and AF started daily flights? How are BA/AF doing?
