Pictures: just what did happen to this hail-damaged Boeing aircraft?

These extraordinary images of hail damage to an aircraft, apparently last month, have been turning up on the internet - but there is no definite account of what happened.

Somebody even e-mailed them to recently departed Boeing Commercial chief Alan Mulally, but the story told him is disputed - notably by an anonymous person claiming to have been a crew member on board.

Do you know what really happened, when and where? Perhaps you are the mystery photographer? Drop us a line at kieran.daly@rbi.co.uk

Probably Flying.

The Radome replacement takes Minutes. There would be work on the Dents of the LEDs.After the needed Checks the Aircraft would be cleared.

BTW Is that a B727.

How much time according to you would it take to induct this particular a/c back to service.

Depending on the Damage observed. If its only Radome damage,Windshield replacement & the Replacement spares are Available, then Aircraft can be Flying in 24hrs.

Structural work could add up time.
