Isnt there a law that states: Two people cannot be paid differently if they're doing the same job, at the same place? If yes, is there a document or a site that gives more insight into this?
I'm asking this cuz an airline employer I know works against this concept and would like to know more, sorry if off the topic.
Norm is A person in a particular Grade is paid a Fixed Amt Gross.However reasons like Date of Joining,Experiences,Specialist Allowances can be qouted to avoid the same.

And i feel the education here too plays an important role.
I know of a particular case wherein a 35 year old man gets paid more than the 55 year old guy, just cos he advises and the other one is just the ceo
