Hi Aseem:


I was wondering, do u think its a good idea to start either a new section or something called Aviation Law. I could provide you with the Updated Aviation Acts and rules and some case law. I came across alot of very interesting cases, including this case about someone filing against air india and indian airlines for flying old aircraft and how it is dangerous for the public. But i couldnt post it on here because it said it was too long.


Anyways, since i am doing law... i could help.. we could include all the international treaties also which india is bound by in the context of aviation.


Everyone please give me some feedback on what u think of this idea.

I think it's a great idea - maybe you can start and maintain a thread on Aviation law on the Civil Av forum? If there's enough momentum, we can certainly make a new sub-forum in time.

I will compile some stuff which i will put up. The other questions is how do u post longer messages? some of the judgements are pretty long. And the site does not allow me to post them.

Might I suggest posting the summary in lay-man's term's and leaving the long specifics as a link?

I don't know specifically what's needed to post a long single post - maybe Aseem has some details?

you can potentially post as long post as you want, but as Nimish said keep it for layman and post the link for those wanting to do indepth research.
