Jet Airways’ COO, VP (HR) quit

New Delhi, Sept 07:

In a move that could give a jolt to premier private carrier Jet Airways, two of its top executives, including the chief operating officer, on Thursday put in their papers.

Dale Moss, who joined the airline as COO in May this year, resigned from his post today, aviation sources said.

Sarat Chandran, Jet`s Vice President (Human Resources), also quit, the sources said, without giving reasons why the two executive moved out.

Moss, who was handling passenger sales, cargo, it and communications, had joined Jet Airways after putting in decades of service including as executive vice president with British Airways in the US.

Chandran had joined the private carrier in October 2003 after having served in the Oberoi Group.

Rajesh Verma, who was vice president (customer and in-flight services), had quit earlier to join rival Kingfisher Airlines. Four other marketing managers have also quit Jet in the recent past.

News also has come on CNN-IBN and NDTV Profit.
