Hi Nitin - what were the experiments about? The frequencies themselves are published on the ATC Guild web site (ATC facilities at Airports).

Per the list, the Frequencies in DEL are:

APP DELHI APPROACH 127.9OOMHz
TWR DELHI TOWER 118.100MHz
SMC DELHI GROUND 121.900MHz
TAR DELHI RADAR 127.900MHz/119.300MHz
RSR DELHI RADAR 120.900MHz/124.55MHz
ATIS DELHI INFORMATION 126.400MHz

Good luck with the ATC receiver (which one do you have?). It's much much more fun spotting if you know what you're going to see next!

Hi Nitin - I'm based in BLR, not in DEL. I just pulled up the DEL frequencies from the ATC web site! I wouldn't mind going spotting some day in DEL, but I'm not sure when I'll get there next. Let me know if you're ever in BLR though, we can do a fair bit of spotting from my balcony!

Tower - high altitudes
Approach - low altitudes and take off/landings
Ground - once on the ground.

The others - I'm not very clear of.

RSR is the long distance radar which governs planes which are under the area that spans from 50 miles off DEL to Delhi's controlled airspace borders.

There might be two frequencies active servicing on RSR depending on traffic density.
