I ahd been for an all-round personality competition last year at Mumbai called 'Vogue'
I qualified upto the semi-finals but in that round there was one section where the celebrity guest would ask u a question and u have 10 seconds to think and 1 min to answer...
My question was asked by model Cleo Issacs... (I hadn't heard her name prior to the event also)
The question was...
Agar Diwali mein hai ali aur Ramzan mein hai ram toh fir hindu musalman ke bech kyun hai yeh nafrat?
I was blank had no reply so just gave up a stupid reply that god made man and man made religion and started worshipping him in different forms and claimed that their religion and their god is the best.
I was out from that round needless to say

Well I think you got a raw deal with that question, it doesnt seem like a very good question, I mean thats my personal opinion.
However, when it comes to hatred, there is very little hatred between God fearing and educated people of any religion. Its only fanatics who have basically other motives and the chaos caused by using religion as a card works to their favour. In many cases the same people claim to be Hindus one day and Muslim the next. They really dont care about any religion, but do so to create fear amongst people. When you can induce fear in humans you can pretty much get anything done.
Just my opinion
Cheers
