Jet Airways raises fuel surcharge effective Sept. 5 By Reuters Sunday September 3, 08:25 AM

MUMBAI (Reuters) - India's largest private airline, Jet Airways Ltd., said on Saturday it would increase fuel surcharge on all classes of domestic flight tickets by 100 rupees effective Sept. 5.

The increase in surcharge followed a rise in aviation turbine fuel costs, the company said in a statement.

For tickets issued outside India, the surcharge would be $16 (744 rupees) on all domestic routes, the company said.
