VT-VKW is at BLR this morning and was being towed to the isolation bay for some engine tests and start ups. The pilot wanted to use Apron 6, but the ATC refused to let them use Apron 6 as they wanted to do some minor repairs along with some start up tests, and sent them along to the isolation bay.
Does anyone know anything about the a/c in question?
The ATC called the a/c only as Victor-Kilo-Whisky, and the a/c also replied only with that call sign. I've assumed it started with Victor Tango, but that was not said by either hte ATC nor the a/c
If it was only Victor Kilo Whiskey...Its likely a VT- KW registration with First letter missing. As Indian registered Aircraft are at times referred to as that.
