IAF to shift air exercises to Hindon

NDTV has just said that after representation by all the airlines, the IAF has decied to shift all air exercises and Air Force Day celebrations to over Hindon instead of over Palam. Exercises over Palam blocked airspace for hours.

Hindon is Distt Ghaziabad U.P. and is at the other of Palam.  It also happens to be the major IAF base in Delhi area.  Here is Google photo of the place http://tinyurl.com/gxo9z

This is good news. With the growing air traffic, clashes were bound to happen.


Sooner or later, we have got to separate the civilian airports from the defence airfields too.

Proposal is with the ministry, now just let wait and watch when does it come around.
