With all the news about failed terrorist plots in Britain, it is interesting to read Frederick Forsyth's new novel "The Afghan". A work of fiction, but it seems uncomfortably close to the truth.
It might not be one of his best works, but is better than the series of post 9/11 thrillers from other authors in the last few years.
Oddly, it has been released in India before the UK and US.
