For research purposes if we need to find out an aircraft's length, how much fuel it carries or how fast it flies, then how should one go about it. I tried to do some research and could come up with this link : http://www.airnz.co.nz/aboutus/fleet/aircraft_statistics.htm Any more inputs from people will be appreciated.....Mel u here
Write to AI/IA Ops engg and ask them for archived data on aircraft not in service, they should not have a problem doing so, you might have to get to know the manager personally if you want it pronto. Some of these blokes are from IIT aerospace engg and will try to help. If you are in mumbai try contacting Mr Shrikanth Jogalekar or Anil Sheode from AI-Engg both are IITians they might oblige. Alternatively if you have access thru college to online resource databanks look in aerospace you might find some data. A industry journal called ''Aircraft tech & engg maintenance'' these guys regularly have articles on fuel burn, engine management etc, engg & maint related mainly
