There seems to be one new airline ticketing website in India every week, with a deal better than the last one, and as things happen I end up trying them at least once.
Experiences have been mixed, some are ultra reliable, others have defaulted on promises, but the question here is - what are the safeguards in case the airline or the website fold up?
I can understand and am aware of the rules governing such things when tickets are bought directly from airlines, but how does it work when all you have is a printout from a travel agent running a website?
As of now, I've gone back to a mix of coupons and direct airline web-ticketing for domestic travel, as well as a direct airline web-ticketing episode for a DEL-LHR-DEL on 9W, but the 3rd party websites do appear to be cheaper, so any thoughts/facts on the liability issues?
Thank you

Starboard Side emergency reclining window please, thank you, and the lounge card, if you don't mind?
I dont think there shud be any sort of fraud stuff in those websites but i guess ones like TravelGuru and Makemytrip which advertise in media can be surely relaible but best wud be the airline's own website
What do others say

Someone mentioned Travelguru. Some time back when I wanted to check flights from Jaipur to Delhi (less than 1 hour flight) it suggested Jaipur-Mumbai (1.5 hrs) followed by Mumbai-Delhi (2 hrs). Hope they have got their act together now.
