Other than PIA and AI how many airlines have ordered the B777-200LR any info with figures will be appreciated

Boeing has recieved certification for the Boeing 777-200/LR from the FAA and European JAA. First 777-200/LR was to PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK). Air Canada, EVA Air, Emirates and Air-India have also ordered the -200/LR.

Well isnt any other Indian carrier ordering the -200LR maybe 9W can upgrade some of its 777-300ER orders to -200LR

Exactly the reverse.


AI and Jet ordered the 777-200LR. Then Jet changed its mind and made it to 777-300.

During the Worldliner World Tour (or the 777-200LR world tour) Jet's (tail) Logo (Broken egg?) was painted alongside the AI Centaur, Pakistan International's logo and Eva Air sign. At that time, only 4 customers had made up their mind.


After 9W suddenly changed its mind, its logo was removed and replaced with Air Canada's maple leaf. Air Canada, like Air India, suddenly announced a huge 777/787 order after weeks of speculation over going for the A340-500.
