How wud u rank the following airlines


1.Indian


2.Jet Airways


3.Air Sahara


4.Kingfisher Airlines


5.Air Deccan


6.SpiceJet


7.GoAir


8.Alliance Air


PS i know everyone maynt have flown all airlines but still atleast name ur top three or better all

Profits then 9W if not including Cargo operators else BDA/DHL would be way ahead.

Dude you need to specify the criteria on which these airlines are best! Ony then would a poll make sense. e.g. you might want to ask:


1) Best livery


2) Best a/c maintenance


3) Best cabin crew


4) Best inflight service


5) Best food


6) Best fares, etc


Because all these criteria would throw up different best airlines.

Best a/c maintenance - Mel, how could you not say BD/DHL. BTW not sure about others but I believe 9W E&M is very good. Mel do u agree?


Best Cabin Crew - Not sure...IT maybe?? I cant believe Mel said CD. Mel were u serious?

True 9W Maintenance is Good too,Rated as High as BDA/DHL.


Cabin CD because its true better than IT.

CD cabin crew are smart and good.


Very efficient and saw a passenger getting it in the neck for not fastening his seatbelt.


Most though seem to be from the North-East.

1.Indian : I give them 4 stars. Good food. Good Infrastructure, but poorly used. Old a/h but helpful. Bullish airline with deep pockets. Who cares attitude in engg. Let me make money.



2.Jet Airways : 5 stars. Food okay. Good Infra, but costly to keep consistency. Good a/c. Large turnaround of staff to Emirates and Etihad. Money sources scary. White collar criminals. Who cares attitude when it comes to staff services in the Jet Privilege Customer Deptt.



3.Air Sahara : 3 stars. Not much interaction of mine, except that flew them DELHI-JAMMU.



4.Kingfisher Airlines : Well see hooters air and see these people, need i say more.



5.Air Deccan : I would nick name this airline as AIR DHAKKAN.



6.SpiceJet : 3 stars. Good. Too early to comment on the functions but the ground staff is not at all that helpful.



7.GoAir : 4 stars. Great looking aircrafts. Nice ppl. Serious to grow. Ex Indian engg, so no probs.



8.Alliance Air : Never been on one, but would like to go with MEL if he says ex 4S girls....then we all know y ppl travelled 4S then.......and then Damania, and then Modiluft and then SKY NEPC


Also i would like to suggest my travel with the following:


9.Jagson Airlines: Was on the flight to Pant Nagar for some refulling tests and it was okay. A test flight so u can imagine, the perks, the attention, and yes the service. But in reality, all a hog show. Flights are cancelled without notice, no clue to anyone....imagine....they want more aircrafts......


10. Paramount Airways: 5 stars for evrything. Not just that apart from Jumbo Jets, i am a die hard EMB fan.


11. Air India Express: 5 stars. Good crew but a lot of trainees around. Great A/c. Awesome livery. Easy on the pocket. Good food too.


12. Air India: It is because of AirIndia ppl feel nostalgic about INDIA, FLYING and yes AVIATION. So 95 STARS to AI. (But yes, AI does have its own set of problems, still im a fan).

Also when i prod more.....with the recent LCC spate and the sudden growth of aviation, i think to wonder how do people or fellow travellers rank an airline.


Are these the following parameters :


Is it by the airline's history.
Is it by the aircraft they are flying in.
Is it by the food they serve.
Is it by the ground crew.
Is is by the cabin crew (Am not sure if the fellow traveller includes the pilots in them)
Is it by the time taken to reach.
Is it by the interiors.
Is it by the freebies.
Is it by the fare.
