Hey im travelling to delhi from mumbai mostly on the 7th of July and return on 14th (night like an 8-10 pm dep) or 15th (morning 930am-12pm dep) am not geting cheap tickects the lowest im getting is Rs.5,148 on Air Deccan i wouldnt mind any other airline expect for air india because of the hassle of travelling to the international airport...
i checked on makemytrip.com too but no luck realy...let me know asap

The travel sites like makemytrip are not useful unless you are in a great hurry-and their prices are not realistic. There is one particularly useless website (travelguru I think) which, when you try for Jaipur-Delhi, which will suggest you to travel from Jaipur to Mumbai and then Delhi. (whereas a reasonable deluxe bus will take around 6 hours from city centre to city centre).

Anyway, the best of these comparision websites is the "faresearch" accessible from the home page of www.rediff.com

Look at the individual websites of Air Deccan, Jet, Indian, Kingfisher, Go Air, Spicejet but not Sahara as their website dos not inspire confidence.

There is always the train-you should be able to get AC tickets on some good train.

i did check on the websites the air deccan website only shows Rs.5148 and about travelling by train i wouldnt mind it but im going alone plus wouldnt like to waste time like that yea i llove rajdhani but still...thanks neways

Did u check up with Travel divn of India times or just simple grab ur local travel agent they give better deals tooo

i did check but even my desi travel agent is charging me 4000 fr an air sahara tickt wen online its just fr 3300! so lets seee i think ill stick to Deccan...thanks again

Saurabh try the indiatimes site, you will get a return ticket on your desired timings within 6000 rupees,all inclusive.

PS--try and avoid DN especially after the early morning departures as they are always delayed by atleast 25-30 mins.

Travelling by Air Deccan is increasingly becoming like going to the zoo.


Sit on board, stare at everyone, eat your own food and hope for take-off .... eventually.

thats why the correct name is Air Dhakan and not Air Deccan or better Air Dukan
