NO. Very clearly said its Boeing's first 787 cancellation. Xiamen is now ordering the 737-800.

Passengers won't know what to choose. 787 IFE will be advanced.

Well that depends if the 787s are operated to the Gulf

AI has realised that IFE is important irrespective of the sector.

It is true that the 787s may be replacing the A310s and even doing these multi-hop as well as long range sectors but IFE and its options will be the best.

What is most important is that Ai maintains the systems and keeps the cabin clean.

Can;t be having fingerprints on the screen, broken buttons, and seats and seat covers soaked in hair oil, food stains, and crosslegged passengers.

well let me tell u hajj passengers take bath in IC and AI flights while going for hajj. they bring plastic cups and use water from basin!!!

i wud expect nothing more than broken TVs and headphones on these routes in such aircrafts

u can hear spoons, plates, etc. falling

these people dont even know where to piss in the toilet believe me on my one trip to SHJ the cabin crew had to tell the pax that the aircraft wud crash if they did not sit is their seats

and he believed it

Hehe...good one.

One my flight to AMD on 9W, there was this stupid Gujju middle-aged man, who wanted to pee when the aircraft was on its final landing approach. This was atleast 8-10 min after the captain announced the landing!!

He got up to pee and was promptly sent back to his seat by the stewardess. Five minutes later, he got up again. This time the plane was only about 1500ft above!! This time he was sternly told by the stewardess to return to his seat. And he comes smiling and tells his companion that the air-hostess told him that he would have to do it after landing. What an idiot he was!! Such people really drive me wild..........

737-800s in lieu of 787s?? Man, either the airline had made a serious blunder earlier or they have drastically re-evaluated their strategy.

The capacities and the ranges of these two aircraft are worlds apart....
