my strong haunch is that AI shall go for B747-800 for sure.  I dont' think B773ERs can totally replace B747s, especially with AI having strong links with the latter.

Personally at the moment I would like to wait for the A380 to Fly regular service with Airlines to Judge its Capability,flight ops & Mx wise.Time will tell.

Right now, no one has bought a passenger 747-8.  How weird if AI of all people got the first.  It would be the ultimate desi coup de tat.
