Posting Trip Reports with Pictures
Permalink Closed

Hi

Any ideas how to post a trip report with pictures on this site. As I would be travelling shortly thought I would write a report but could not find any options of either uploading files or photos.

Regards

let me try posting a photo with usual html code used at message boards and see if it works or not. Using [img]URL[ /img]****remove the gap between bracket and slash and use url without inverted commas

Thanks Aseem. But sounds to technical to me. Is there a simple method of just attaching the phots on the site.

Or probably will write a report here and upload the photos on the yahoo site :)

not at all technical.  Here it is same as posting images in A.net.  You upload the photos at Yahoo or Photobucket and take the URL from there. Use the method i suggested to link them to this page.

For detailed method have a look at "Adding Images" at

I think there are couple of mistakes you are making..

  1. first of all the URL extention of photo should end with .jpg etc.  You'll have to get it by right clicking of photo wherever you uploaded them.
  2. don't use inverted commas if you are using [img] method, but they are required if you use <img src="URL">

besides the airliners link i sent, here are a few from online HTML tutorials that shall help you.

hope this helps..

folks just take some time to go through the links and suggestions I have posted in the above quoted post.

It is all too simple to post pictures.  People do all the time on A.net, and the same steps apply here.
