Waiting for Postman

folks
in this era of emails and quick communication, the one who has suffered the most is humble postman. I remember going out to look for postman on warm summer afternoons.

I would like to know how many of you miss waiting for postman to come? Would love to hear counter point as well.

thnx

I clearly remeber the postman, as my dad was posted abroad always used to be glad to see a postman in the hope that he has some letters from him.....

Besides who can forget the dreaded report cards which used to be posted after your final exams in April/May......

Hehehe...I also remember those long waits for the postman especially during the report card season.  We used to interrupt our keenly fought gully cricket matches when the time used to draw closer!!

The Postal Department has lost its sheen and significance since then!
