The Government of India's VIP squadron of Embraer jets is grounded.


Pilots are walking out complaining of poor pay. Gross is about Rs. 20000. They want a scale comparable to IA/AI pilots.


Result is embarrassment. Defence Minister and the Home Minister had to cancel trips to border areas and sensitive centres.


Paramount Airways is now going to help out and is loaning a few pilots to The Government.

Current market rate for pilots is 4-5L.No surprise on the movng on.
