Skoda Laura.


Clicked in Mumbai whilst trying to decide on which car to buy for my family based here. Three choices. Skoda. Honda and Toyota. Have cancelled Toyota because of not much innovation. Honda Civic and Skoda Laura are in the final fray.

Toyota and Honda are the most reliable cars unless you are looking for a diesel.

from the looks it seems, Skoda Laura is pretty much the same as VW Jetta in NA market.  My personal favourite would be from VW family (Skoda).  Next, I'd put Honda Civic and then Toyoto.  IMHO!! Toyota should do away with name Corolla, as its too dated and I won't buy that car just for the name.

Well out of those 3 cars...id say toyota wins hands down simply because they dun get spoilt mate. They dont break down. and they do a pretty good job. The civic i think is too boring and the skoda like most european cars is over priced.

Toyota is known for the quality of it's engines worldwide... They have a good life and don't have frequent breakdowns.....
Honda is known for it's innovation in technology as well as in design..... Their engines also enjoy a good image.......
Skoda is backed by VW..... So it's Abhishek of Amitabh.....
All have high maintenance costs....Civic known for its revolutionary design.... Laura known as the most sexiest car....n in Toyota u didn't mention the model......
If I have the following 3 choices: Civic, Laura & Camry.... I will buy all the 3......hehe

IMHO you should consider Toyota. They are quite reliable and response from customer service should be good. Not to mention their quality in their technology. They have a high standard of technology.

Mostly in the suburbs.


Self Driven.


And am considering financing options, if that helps you with my budget.

From Feedback from a few friends.HONDA CIVIC Is Good.Although In a city like BOM.I'd prefer the M800,Zen or Santro.

In a city like BOM the best is to have a BullDozer that can clear your way thorugh the messy rickshaws
