If you are visiting Ramoji Film City near Hyderabad, check the mockup of the interior of an airliner which seems to be often used in various Indian movies. It is part of their guided tour.

Nopes. The movie has Nicholas Cage in it. Its about two of the NYPD officers and their story of survival and vision. Saw a trailer of the same today, when i was down frm my bank visit. We had gone to see United 93.

There's a Bollywood movie called "Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya" that they were showing yesterday. LOL, you guys HAVE to watch this movie's ending/climax.

Aishwarya Rai is travelling abroad forever along with Anupam Kher leaving her love Bobby Deol behind, when suddenly Bobby Deol appears at the tarmac on a stepladder. He then throws the driver of the stepladder out and drives the same to the runway where an AI 747 is rolling...

He then overturns it and its skidding on the runway , the commander (a firang) notices this and applies the brakes of the jumbo and they both come to a complete stop right next to each other...

Here's the funniest part: Aishwarya Rai sees him do all this from a window and wants to get out of a moving plane... They then have a scene of the Slide deployment (which is nice) and Aishwarya sliding down. The police then arrive and handcuff Bobby and Anupam Kher watching this handcuffs Aishwarya along with him.. HAPPY ENDING

Its possible for Bobby to do it as his Dad did hold a DC3 [if not wrong] with a Cable in another movie.

Im glad Bollywood films are more realistic these days than the reverse Sumasolt fight scenes.

Has everybody forgotten the movie Airplane starring Leslie Nielsen.

I have been to the airplane mockup at Ramoji Film City mentioned by ABN397. Though accurately built, the insides looked quite shabby and a few seats were broken. Don't think it was being used any more as a set.

@KarateCatMan: The movie is Anjaam. Madhuri plays an airhostess married to a pilot (Deepak Tijori) while Shahrukh plays this psycho who i sobsessed with her.

Decent shots of the frist class cabin of the 747-400 with air-hosteses(incuding Maddy) serving etc. Maddy actually ties up a drunk Shahrukh!! That I can believe! But 747-400's on BOM-DXB? Naaah!

Other movies I remember:

1. Yeh Nazdeekiyan-Parveen Babi and Marc Zuber - more than 15 minutes of film time- in an IC caravelle when the main characters are flying Mumbai to Madras. Various comedy scenes centred around the toilet. Inflight service shown. One point noticed: 5 across all-economy seating and ceramic type crockery!!

2. Hema Malini is an airhostess with Air India oeprating BOM-MAA-SIN on a 707!! Some drugs found in her bag on the halt in MAA and she gets arrested. Excellent shots of old AI 707!

3. Dev Anand is a pilot with IC. Dozens of HS748 type aircraft shown landing and takeoff. Hema Malini (again!) is an air-hostess.

The movie is "Dil ka heera" Hema is an hostess and Dharmendra is a customs officer. The movie has shots of the B747 upper deck lounge too.

See the movie and relate to these pictures:

The movie has been released in India in English and Hindi. The following regional languages are also in leading in giving Rural India a taste of 007 in " Tamil and Telegu".
